Old Paths Homestead - raising Nubian goats and meat rabbits in Oklahoma

Welcome to our homestead. Our farm is located in beautiful central Oklahoma. We share our 5 acres with a herd of Nubian dairy goats, dozens of meat rabbits, one mare, flock of chickens, four dogs and five cats. Our herd went through a major change, many does went to new homes and we will be welcoming several new ones - we are definitely excited about these additions. Our show string expanded with lamanchas, and recorded grades. The Nubian herd will continue under our herd name Prairie Nights, Sebastien's lamancha does will carry the herd name Time Again.

We are ready for fall ! So are our boys it looks like. Breeding season started early this year, most does are bred for late December and early January. Deposits are open, check out the breeding chart or contact us with questions if you are interested in Old Paths Homestead kid. We made improvements to our barn so goats can now enjoy water inside their stalls and blocked northern wind as we closed that wall.

News flash !! Midsummer Nights Briar Berry 90 VEEE went grand in three rings at the Heart of Oklahoma ADGA show.  We are so excited for Briar and what a great year she had - finished her championship and received an excellent appraisal score of 90 VEEE as a 4 year old 4th freshener. She also has a superior genetics designation.

Feel free to look around and visit, we hope you like what you see.

Thus saith the Lord, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls.
